IERA ODOS, PHABRICA-TECHNOCHOROS
10 December, 2017
Iera Odos is Greece's oldest road.
But its to as a monument to classical antiquity with its respective historical value has not progressed.
For 2.500 years it remained the only national road connecting Athens with Northern Greece, the continent and the peloponnese.
Its construction with infrastructure and asphalt was made in 1927.
Since then it has the same form, with the only differentiation of certain widening.
This unique functionality of Iera Odos as a single highway passing through Chaidari, made the city lean towards it.
On the front of this road, in the contribution with today's street road, the city centre was created.
With a length of 7,8 km it intersects mainly with Avenue Avenue, Spyros Pat, st. Annie, Avenue Avenue, Thebes and Alexander Avenue.
At the great Alexander & Eurymedontos we met Stefano and Fanny, two of the initiators of technochorou factory,
who in their profession are actors.
Friendly and smiling, the initiators of the entire project have entrusted us with the creation of a space based exclusively on the idea of
and recyclable where furniture is reminiscent of modern art.
Technochoros factory consists of three levels.
In the basement is the handmade theatre of the group where both productions Athens and other guest troupes are present.
An institution for four years is also the handmade & the festival,
which has been embraced by artists of all arts and from the neighborhood.
On the ground floor you have a welcoming space, also made from the hands of the group, with recyclable materials.
Lying and gears that turned into tables, colorful barrels transformed into couches,
spools of electric power cables that transformed in rocking rocking chairs, are only few of the transformations.
This space is used as a cafe-Bar, foyer, while at the same time hosting theatre and musical performances,
events inspired by the art of trapeze and circus, reports and photography exhibitions, film screenings and documentaries.
Environment friendly, colorful and mostly artistic.
The Loft, being more isolated, is used as a reading room and as an open space, as well as video art projections.
Red Theatre seats, red chairs and a white cloth transform the loft loft into mini-cinema.
The name ΄΄Phámprika΄΄ during Stefano emerged because during the creation of the space everyone was working with hands,
as in factory, that is, that is how the witticism was born, which fits and completely.

The idea began when the theatre group started rehearsing for the shows where they would raise
and rent spaces and then theatres something that was very expensive.
So they decided to create a theatre without spending money.
Fanis was already making items for his home and stefanos found in the idea of construction as something analytical
while already creating his first items of recyclable materials and books old furniture.
Practically the children were ready to create the factory.
The Theatre Works 6 years and before its current use was the basement of an apartment building while the foyer used to be a crew, another art site and a mass focus report. It's been like a brown bar for the last 4 years.

KOUKAKI, TRII ART HUB
February 09, 2018
Koukaki, which is fortunate to bordering the Acropolis and Philopappou Hill, is one of the oldest quarters in the capital.
The first neoclassical buildings were built at the end of 1800 on the outskirts of the Holy Rock.
The area gets its name from George Koukakis, who pre-warbed a large bed industry in Syngrou. As early as the 1960s, when detached houses began to be massively replaced by apartment buildings, it became a densely populated neighborhood. Today we found ourselves on 9th Drakou Street, a pedestrian street that is a connecting point with Syngrou and FIX, in the historic neoclassical preserved, four-storey building of the old small musical theater of Dialou. The 655-square-meter building with 3 floors of initial construction around 1850 has been used in the past in various ways. Meeting the girls of the Trii art hab team, we enjoy our coffee in the inner courtyard of the building and keep up to date with the story, the area and the team's plans for the area. The vision of the Trii art hub, as Ioanna and Penelope tell us, is to set up an art school in this historic building, or else the artist's home where the workshops of the collaborating artists and creators will be housed inside. Art Hub has a central exhibition area for the Arts and Performing Arts Exhibitions. It also has equipped rooms hosting events, lessons, seminars and experiential educational programs. So the space came out after a lot of research and after agreement with the owner started the renovation works which were not few. The group consisted of six women who smashed, painted, plastered and edited the room, turning it into a art and culture class with excellent mnimal aesthetic effect. The building remained closed for several years and had several requirements when renovating the building and because it has been declared preservable, the work encountered greater difficulties than the competent authorities. The name trii art hab emerged from the paraphrase of the word tree and the free translation of the artwork that precisely that the girls are intended to represent. The building base of its rhythm must have been built between 1830 and 1850 and it is a neoclassical building and, in particular, it is a building that was built as a home for Othon's patron. The façade is divided into a trunk base and a coronation, while it also has a tiled roof with an edge-ceramma. The neoclassical has two entrances and a gates, a balcony-door with a balcony, four windows and an elaborate plaster exterior decoration. Inside, the rooms are high-ceilinged and end up in extraordinary gravestones. The large wooden staircase leading to the upper floor creates awe to the visitor as well as the interior design of the rooms that are many and comfortable. One more use of space in the past was his destination for a private school. In 1990, the second and third floors were retrofitted for the purpose of renting.

KALLIMARMARO, HOBNOB
March, 2018
Kallimarmaro is a stadium in Athens, located east of Zappeion and north of Ardittos hill,
from which they were passing Ilissos river. The stadium was built long before the standardization of the dimensions of the sports grounds,
and thus the racing space and layout follows the ancient hairpin model.
There was once room for 80,000 spectators in fifty rows of marble stairs, and this number has been limited to 45,000 spectators.
At Eratosthenous 4, at the Panathenaic Stadium is the city's most art salon.
There we also met for the needs of the reportage meeting
Dimitris and Andreas, where they welcomed us with positive mood and talked about the aesthetics and layout of their professional space.
If you open up, we were told, the dictionary, HOBNOB in English slang means: "I socialize, I make friends, I am socializing".
The building is in the '70s and before it was a place of art.
The children retained many elements and the interventions they made were mostly decorative.
While preserving the marble floors, they wanted to keep Aigli of another era by combining the
with open uncovered display windows designed to create a simple and at the same time a strict decoration line.
Their colors are cool and luminous and give a sense of rejuvenation by allowing colored details
of the furniture to star in the space.
They preferred to emphasize two modern, very special chairs,
which, in addition to being made of materials that do not easily dirt,
they are also ideal for relaxing and relaxing while waiting in the salon.
Andreas and Dimitris have avoided the use of benches or classic waiting seats'
because their intent was to create a friendly environment.
Finally, this pleasant atmosphere completes a unique large-scale board in the reception.
Generally, as you are in your area, the impression of freedom is created as the large openings
and the mirrors of this professional space create the feeling that you are both inside and outside the space.
The flower beds that children created outside the shop give the picture of a small garden.
